The semi-steel roll is made with a kind of material that is of performances between that of steel that of steel roll and iron roll ,containing alloy elements of nickel,chrome and molybdenum etc.its base structure has a certain amount of carbide.Through special thermal treatment,this product possesses very high wear resistance,fine tenacity and crack-resistance.Its best feature is that there is almost no hardness drop height in its work layer,so it is appropriate to be used for strip steel’s continuous rough heat rolling machine,front section refined rolling,bar or rod rolling machine,intermedinate rolling or pre-refined rolling machine stand,universal rolling machine and roll ring of overhang rolling machine and roll sleeve etc.
